Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor…

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
with conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
a mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

I have always wanted to see the Statue of Liberty up close. I have never quite made it that far North. Nice picture.

I have been to NYC a few times and have yet to see the statue of liberty- I would love to.
Christmas 2006 we saw the monuments in Washington DC at night and it was amazing.
