Hey! We’re heading there in a few weeks. It’ll be our first time visiting and I’m looking forward to blogging our thoughts/adventures.

It definitely personifies hope.

Hubs and I took the little peeps to DC a couple of years ago. One of the best vacations we’ve had. I was surprised by how much the kids enjoyed all the monuments.

I’m hopeful too! I love the mall and the monument, but I hate the shadow that has been cast upon them over the past several years. Change is coming though, and hope is coming with it!

Nice Pic. Thanks for sharing. I am personally feeling much more hope recently as are many in this country.

Did I ever tell you about the time I was almost arrested for flying a kite too close to that thing? Okay, maybe not arrested, but I was severely reprimanded and warned that I could get a ticket. Who knew?

Um, no…I can’t say I remember that story! What a riot! Well, I mean, not a riot, but…whoa.

I bet the kite was gorgeous!
